The pendulum
A setback doesn't reset anything to zero.
That is the whole difference. A streak that drops to zero on the first missed day punishes exactly the moment that was already hard. A pendulum doesn't do that: it gets smaller and keeps swinging.
Miss two days after three weeks and you still have three weeks — not nothing. Pandelo counts the way it ought to feel.
Your minimum adjusts in both directions. It grows through good weeks and gives way in hard ones.
Feeding
No button. A gesture.
You drag your time through Pando's mouth. A ball is one, two or three hours. He won't take more than five balls in a day, and nothing past twelve hours counts — Pandelo doesn't reward nights you'll be missing tomorrow.
- 1 · 2 · 3 hone ball, by length
- max. 5balls per day
- max. 12 hnothing counts past this
- overnightfood ripens before it works
- neverdoes a late entry feed him
You can still log late — your statistics should be right. It just won't make Pando swing. The day you did it is over.
Data
Pandelo collects nothing.
Not “as little as possible”. Nothing. There is no account to create, no cloud syncing, and no server anything could go to — because there isn’t one. That is not a setting you have to find, it is how the app is built. Which is why the lock above has no keyhole: there is nothing to open.
- no accounts
- no cloud
- no servers
- no analytics
- no ad IDs
- no third parties
What you log sits in the app on your phone and nowhere else. The honest price of that: delete the app and it is all gone. There is no backup I could be keeping for you — which is exactly why there is nothing here that belongs to me.
An app that knows nothing about you cannot lose anything about you.
Early bird
Pay once. Keep it for good.
Pandelo Plus comes as a subscription — and as a one-time purchase. Buy it once and it stays: every new phone, every later version, no date on which someone asks you again. For an app that collects nothing about you, that is the fitting way to pay.
- €3.99 per month
- €39.99 per year
The free version stays usable and is not artificially cut down: logging, your minimum, Pando, the week at a glance. Plus adds the calendar, longer statistics and more habits.
Streak
A streak that’s only meant for you to know.
Nobody sees it. There is no friends list, no leaderboard, nothing to share and no one to prove anything to. Your streak is a number between you and your phone.
There is a marker at 21 days. It comes from no study — it is far enough away to mean something and close enough to see. If you reach it, you have done something for three weeks. That is the whole claim.
Closed test
Support Pandelo as a tester.
Before the Play Store launch there is a closed test: twelve people, fourteen days. Google requires it — but it is also the last round where feedback can still change the app before it is out.
You need an Android phone and a Google account. Send me that account’s address and you go on the tester list.
